Before I go into a bit of detail on each item, I cannot say enough that the one thing that mom wants is a break. A guilt-free, relaxing, break where she only has to think about herself instead of everyone else first. If you can swing that, do it. If not, have someone else take the kids for an afternoon and turn your bedroom into a spa. Dim the lights, enjoy a hot shower, throw on a cozy robe, paint your nails, apply self tanner, etc. Give mom some time to just be a woman.
