Mother's Day Gift Guide + Simple DIYs

I can put a lot of beautiful things on a graphic, but let me tell you what mother’s really want on May 10. A break. We want a break. We want someone else to make the decisions. All of them. We want to sit somewhere (at home if we are still working through this global pandemic) and be as mindless as possible. That will vary for every mom. But I guarantee if you have breakfast in bed ready to go and offer a free afternoon, that will earn you rockstar status.

But, we also like things. So if you can’t offer time, here’s some shiny things to consider! And don’t forget to get the kids involved with some simple DIYs at the bottom of this page.

Simple DIYs

Handprint bouquet

Send a hug - I love this for grandmothers who you may not be able to see on Mother’s day!

Rainbow Heart Wreath - great learning exercise for kids with patterning and color identification. Plus it would make the nicest ding, dong, ditch surprise.
